Recently being one of two targets of a spam/flame attack by a disgruntled PITA, I was out googling my way around looking for info on the script being used. Discovered that there were a lot of entries made by that script to Blogs. Rather irritating.
So the Blog is now the latest target of Spammers. [expletive deleted]. Then tonight I started digging around on Slashdot and found this great sounding MT plug-in to fight spam!
So Brat, can you get on this and test it? Then let me know the ins and outs eh? "-)

Can't test it now. There's a section called Procrastination Material on his blog that can keep me busy until wellllllllll after you have spotted all the bugs in the beta.
Better get started on procrastinating right away...soon...after a nap.

Posted by: Piddler at October 27, 2003 09:13 PMI have also been reading about this problem too, but I haven't seen this particular plug-in yet. I read that you can insert some code into your templates that will allow you to delete comments right from the email you receive when a comment is posted.
This plug-in you posted sounds pretty cool though. I don't know much about plug-ins yet though. eek! All this stuff makes my head spin. When I get the splashofstyle blog going, I will have to test this plug-in!
